Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

MAKA AI is operated by 码卡（广州）科技有限公司 (the “Company”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers personal information processed for MAKA AI at www.maka.ai, including account access, design tools and, where available, AI generation, paid services and integrations.

It describes MAKA AI, not every other MAKA product. A feature described here may not yet be available to all users. This policy does not itself activate a feature or authorize additional access to your accounts.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: identifiers needed to recognize your account, your email address, display name and profile image when supplied by your sign-in provider.
• Content you provide: prompts, uploaded images or logos, text, brand details, designs, edits and saved works. Content may contain personal information if you include it.
• Service and transaction records: account settings, usage and credit records, plan or order details, payment status and support messages. Payment providers handle card details through their payment interfaces; do not send full card details to our support email.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, request and error logs, session identifiers and information needed to protect and operate the service.

We collect information from you, from your use of the service, from the sign-in provider you choose and from service providers that return transaction or operational results.

3. Google sign-in and Google user data

If you choose Google sign-in, MAKA AI requests only basic email and profile information to identify you, create or access your account and display your profile. Google may also provide an account identifier and authentication information required for sign-in. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts or calendars through this sign-in.

We use Google user data only for account access, account display, support and security. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. We do not send Google authentication credentials to design-generation models.

MAKA AI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Any necessary disclosure to service providers is limited to operating the relevant user-facing service, security or legal obligations.

You can remove MAKA AI’s access in your Google Account connections. Revoking access stops future access through that connection; it does not by itself delete information already held in your MAKA AI account. Contact us to request account or data deletion.

4. How and why we use information

We use information to provide account access; save, edit, generate and export designs you request; administer available plans, credits and orders; answer support and rights requests; diagnose errors; prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service where these do not override your rights, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where required. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.

5. Design content and AI processing

When you request an AI feature, the prompt and relevant content needed to perform that task may be processed by AI service providers. Do not include sensitive personal information, confidential client data or other material you are not permitted to share with the service.

Our permission to process your private content is limited to providing the requested service and necessary support, security and troubleshooting. We do not publish your private designs, sell them as templates or use them for our model training without a separate lawful basis and any required authorization. Google sign-in data is subject to the stricter limits above.

If you choose to publish, share a link or send a design to an external integration, the people or service you select may receive that content. Recipients may retain their own copies. Review the destination and permissions before sharing.

6. Who receives information

We disclose information only as needed to providers that support hosting, storage, authentication, AI processing, payments, support or operational security; to people or services you direct us to share with; when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and safety; or as part of a lawful business transfer subject to appropriate notice and protections.

We limit provider access to the service they perform. Payment and sign-in providers also process information under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information. We do not disclose private designs for another party’s independent advertising.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage to maintain sessions, remember preferences and support the service. Operational diagnostics may collect performance and error information when enabled. Where consent is legally required for non-essential storage or tracking, it must be obtained before that activity.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser. Doing so may sign you out or prevent some features from working. These public legal pages do not load analytics scripts or require a login.

8. Storage, retention and security

MAKA AI’s core application database is hosted in the United States. Our Company is based in China, and service providers may operate in other locations. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we must use the appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and protections.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service and for applicable accounting, security, legal and dispute-resolution obligations. The period depends on the information, the purpose, your account status and legal requirements. Deletion requests may be subject to those requirements and the removal of residual backup copies through normal backup cycles.

We use access restrictions and other technical and organizational measures to protect information. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your sign-in accounts and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy or portability of your information, restriction of processing, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection authority. We will not penalize you for exercising rights provided by law.

Email makasj2022@gmail.com with your request and enough information to identify your MAKA AI account. We may ask for proportionate verification before acting. Do not send your password, authentication token or full payment details. We will respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful reason a request cannot be fully fulfilled.

To delete your account or content that cannot be removed through an available product control, use the same contact channel. We may retain limited records where legally required, and will explain the relevant exception.

10. Children

MAKA AI is not directed to children under 13, or any higher minimum age that applies locally. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the required authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

11. Updates and contact

We will publish updates here with a new date and version. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice and seek consent where required. An update does not retroactively authorize a new use of information where a separate legal basis or consent is needed.
